Smithfield Works is a co-working space in Stoke-on-Trent that needed an online platform to manage bookings while also marketing the business visionA clearly defined and inspiring statement outlining the desired long-term future and ultimate success of a place or project. More. Off-the-shelf booking systems couldn’t deliver without enormous cost and long-term contract commitment, so we created a bespoke solution that was focused on attracting members as it was on serving them.

Building More Than Just a Website
Our strategyA comprehensive plan detailing the steps, resources, and methods required to achieve the project's vision and commercial goals. More moved beyond the client’s initial app idea. We proposed a Progressive Web App (PWA); a smarter, more accessible solution that functions like an app without needing a download from an app store. This instantly removed a barrier for potential users.
We integrated a members-only dashboard, transforming the platform into a community hub where users could manage bookings, connect with fellow members in a directory, and access exclusive ‘neighbour’ offers.
Results
A Thriving Community and Sustained Growth
The results speak for themselves. The Smithfield Works platform successfully launched, attracting a vibrant community of around 400 members. By allowing non-members to book flexibly, the system drove continuous revenue and interest.
The brand’s modern and premium visual identity was rolled out across the website, window graphics, and sales materials, creating a cohesive and compelling brand experience.
